THANK YOU.Unit 8.2: Culture & Belonging Part 2 (9/6-9/21)Students will undertake their first Palm Beach Performance Assessment (PBPA) writing task (Informative writing task on 9/14 (A)-9/16 (B) during the first week of this unit. Students will read the short story My Favorite Chaperone, about the difficulties two Kazakhstani children and their parents have in adjusting to U.S. culture. They will continue to develop their immigration essay during this unit, spending time improving skills in all stages of the writing process.
